Captivated by the lake’s beauty and history, and charmed by the welcoming and great kindness of the islands’ people, we created Nicaragua Dulce, 1^rst Ecological Tour Operator of Central America, specialised in the observation and discovery of fresh water environments, to make visitors, local population and administration more aware of it and by doing so, contributing to its preservation.

In these areas still not much frequented, the presence of ecological tourists, individually or in small groups, on board of electric motor boats, totally new around here, or rowing boats – in areas where the propeller could harm the aquatic vegetation – contribute to the awareness of the value that represents this nature – landscapes, fauna and flora – both on economic, educational, social and health levels…

Moreover, the regular use of our electrically powered boats can contribute to increase the motor boats users’ awareness of this type of clean energy…

Furthermore, our action towards children, islands people and inhabitants of the Peninsula, will include drawing and photography expositions with competitions and rewards but also aquatic tours with specialised guides to give them the chance to discover or to have a better knowledge of the particularities, the richness and the fragility of their environment.

A foundation for the study and preservation of the Islands and the Peninsula will be created with the collaboration of the inhabitants and the organizations affected.
